Other AMS partners we'd worked with were focused on billing hours, with little transparency on invoices and not much progress to show for it. With Turbin we know exactly what we're paying for. In three months we shipped seven integrations and went live with Recruiting, while our hourly rate dropped 23% in the process. The talent they put on our account has been excellent.
We'd tried a traditional staffing agency before Turbin and the candidate they sent wasn't a fit. The problem stayed open. Turbin matched us with a Financials specialist within days who actually understood our issue with matrix orgs. The original issue was resolved in the first month, and we've kept him on for six-plus months at a few hours a month. I love being able to see transparently how many hours have been worked, who is working these hours and what they've been used for, all through the Turbin platform. Compared to other staffing agencies, Turbin offers pre-vetted talent we've never had to replace.
The contract, the replacement, the conversion. Here's what we tell every customer before the first invoice.
Free replacement, no questions asked. For contract hires, we replace within 72 hours, and we've always hit that mark. For permanent hires, the guarantee runs 90 days from start date: if it isn't working out from either side, we replace them at no charge.
No minimum. Most engagements run 3–9 months. There's no long-term commitment and no early-termination fee. If you wind down, you pay for time worked and we move on.
Yes. After 6 months of engagement, conversion is free. Before that, a small conversion fee applies (capped at 10% of first-year base). We'll never block a conversion the consultant wants.
Net-30. Weekly timesheets approved by your lead in the Turbin portal, rolled up into a single monthly invoice with each consultant's hours and the 20% Turbin line item shown separately. Exportable to Workday FINS and NetSuite.
Legally, Turbin is the employer/engager of record depending on classification. Practically, we operate as a product company: the matcher, the portal, and the operations layer are what you're really paying for. The 20% is the platform fee.
